At
Hancock Bank, protecting your financial information is our top priority.
Hancock Bank does not use e-mail notifications to request confirmation
of personal information or to direct downloading of attachments.
If you receive such an e-mail, responding to them may put your financial
information and identity at risk. Don't respond. Instead, forward
a copy of that message to us at Phished@HancockBank.com
and delete the message. Never click any links or attachments in
a suspicious email.

We
want to remind you to protect your information by paying close
attention to the e-mails you receive. When it comes to phishing,
you have the power to protect yourself.
-
Look for Hancock Bank's email standards.
Hancock Bank's email guidelines can help you spot a fake.
-
Never share personal information via email. Often, fraudulent
e-mails will request details such as your full name, account
password, credit/debit card number, bank account, PIN number,
Social Security Number, or mother's maiden name.
Please note, however, that we may send a quality survey by e-mail
asking you to evaluate a recent service interaction with a bank
employee but such requests will not include questions asking
you to provide any personal information but will ask you generic
questions to rate the quality of service received.
-
Never open an attachment or click links in a suspicious email
message.
