Hancock Bank to host ribbon-cutting for renovated Northside office

TALLAHASSEE, FL (November 15, 2006) - This Friday, November 17, 2006, at 10:00 a.m., Hancock Bank of Florida's Tallahassee team will host a ribbon-cutting celebration to spotlight recent renovations at Hancock's Northside Financial Center at 2437 North Monroe Street - a bright new look that complements the company's 107-year-old commitment to core values that distinguish Hancock as one of America's strongest, safest banks.

"We look forward to welcoming our customers to our completely refurbished, full-service Northside financial center and invite them to join us for the ribbon-cutting, refreshments, and complimentary lunch as our thank-you for their patience with this transformation," said Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager David Johnson.

Johnson said the branch features a completely redecorated interior lobby, updated exterior façade, and landscaping that reflect Hancock's new architectural standards for existing facilities. Additionally, Hancock replaced the walk-up automated teller machine with a new, safer, more convenient drive-up ATM. The Northside location also offers a full array of financial services, including traditional banking, consumer and commercial loans, small business banking, insurance, trusts and investments, mortgage services, and wealth management.

The Northside site is one of five current Hancock locations in metropolitan Tallahassee.

Founded in 1899, Hancock Bank - the only financial services company headquartered in the Gulf South to rate among the top 20 percent of America's top performing banks - offers comprehensive financial solutions through more than 140 banking and financial services offices and more than 130 automated teller machines across South Mississippi, Louisiana, southern Alabama, and the Florida Panhandle. Hancock Holding Company (NASDAQ: HBHC) is the parent company of Hancock Bank (Mississippi), Hancock Bank of Louisiana, and Hancock Bank of Florida and has assets of more than $6 billion.

Additional corporate information or on-line banking and bill pay services is available online.
