Associate Program
Hancock Bank
has an exciting management development program for college graduates
who are interested in retail banking. Upon successful completion
of this program, the Management Associates graduate as mid-level
Financial Services Associates in the Hancock branch system. In addition,
the long-term goal for this program is to develop individuals who,
in the future, can step into the position of Branch Manager with
ease, confidence, and enthusiasm.

- Four-year
degree in any major
- Must possess
a genuine interest in learning and working in the retail banking
profession
- Previous
work history in retail/sales
- Demonstrated
commitment to hard work

interpersonal and communications skills

Associates will participate in the following curriculum during their 6 month training:
- Computer based training of compliance
- Teller School and on-the-job training of teller position
- Observation in Items Processing
- Product Knowledge training
- Salespro Deposits training
- Salespro Loans training and on-the-job training of FSA position
- On-the-job training in Direct Banking (a.k.a. Loan By Phone)
- Observation in Central Underwriting
- Observation in Lending Services
- Observation in Deposit Services
- Observation in Recoveries
- Presentation from Business Partners (i.e. Mortgage, Wealth Management, and Cash Management)
- Presentation from Retail Services and Branch Audit
- Presentation from Sales Administration
- Bank Simulation Exercise
- Assigned reports and final cumulative exam
