Bright benefits

Health and Wellness Benefits
In an effort to promote the well-being of our associates, Hancock Bank offers an extensive selection of health and wellness benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance. In addition to these, we also offer a Health Care Spending Account and Dependent Care Spending Account.

At Hancock Bank, we offer Medical Insurance Plans to help our associates meet the needs of their families.

Dental health has become an increasingly common and expensive health cost in recent years. Hancock Bank offers Dental Insurance to assist with these costs.

Vision expenses such as eye exams, glasses and contacts are covered under our vision insurance.

Participation in our flexible spending account or Section 125 Plan, allows associates to pay for certain out-of-pocket expenses with pre-tax dollars, resulting in an increase in spendable income. The Health Care Spending Account allows for the reimbursement of out-of-pocket medical, dental and/or vision expenses. The Dependent Care Spending Account is available for reimbursement of qualified dependent care expenses.

Life and Disability Insurance Benefits
Hancock Bank recognizes that life and disability insurance are two of the most dependable ways to provide financial protection for our associates' families in the event of their death or a disabling accident or illness.

Group Term Life Insurance is provided to our associates at no cost based on their employment status. In addition, our associates can purchase Voluntary Life Insurance, the cost of which is based on age. We realize that some associates may need or want more coverage than others. That is why we offer associates the option of purchasing additional coverage beyond what the company provides as well as the option to purchase term life insurance for spouses and dependent children.

The Bank also provides Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance at no cost to our associates. Those associates who wish to increase their coverage and/or provide coverage for their spouse and eligible dependent children may purchase additional insurance.

In addition, Hancock Bank carries Short Term Disability and Long Term Disability Insurance to protect our associates should they become totally disabled due to an accident or illness.

Associate Assistance Program
Hancock Bank offers a third party service that provides free, confidential counseling and other related services for associates and their family to help deal with personal difficulties.

Retirement Benefits
Hancock Bank understands the importance of planning for the future and recognizes that it's the associate's hard work that makes Hancock Bank a successful, growing organization. Hancock Bank offers several retirement programs for its associates that are designed to help them plan for the future.

Pension Plan - a traditional defined benefit plan that pays those individuals who vest and meet the plan's eligibility requirements a guaranteed retirement benefit based on a pre-determined formula.

401(k) Salary Savings and Investment Plan - gives eligible associates the opportunity to save through pre-tax payroll deductions each pay period. Hancock Bank will match one half (1/2) of the associate contribution up the first 6% of pay contributed. Associates are always 100% vested in their contribution and become 100% vested in the employer match after 3 years of vesting service (minimum of 1,000 hours worked).

Associate Stock Purchase Plan - a convenient way for eligible associates to purchase Hancock Holding Company stock through convenient after-tax payroll deduction.

Supplemental Policies
Hancock Bank also offers several supplemental policies to ease the associate's burden of shopping for coverage such as Auto & Home Insurance, Long Term Care, and Cancer Indemnity Plan.
